The Backstory of Prosperity Consciousness
Prosperity thinking may be referred to as prosperity consciousness.
This mentality focuses on what can be done rather than what can’t be accomplished, and it’s utilized in various situations, including theological, religious, and commercial.
Many people credit the origins of prosperity consciousness to the New Thought movement, which emerged during this half of the nineteenth century in the Midwest United States, or to the New Age Movement, which took hold across North America and Europe during the twentieth century.
The New Thought movement has incorporated the idea more practical, although it’s unclear which was first.
The administration and operation of the Unity School of Christianity (also known as Unity), one of the prominent New Thought organizations, is permeated with prosperity thinking.
- Being aware of the possibilities that abound in the world is an essential step toward prosperity consciousness.
- These opportunities might range from love and spiritual enlightenment to professional achievement.
- The motivation to take action may be lost after recognizing the possibilities.
- Only after acknowledging that possibilities exist can someone go on to the next stage in the process.
- As a result, the individual must recognize what they are qualified to accomplish with these changes.
This is frequently achieved by recognizing each person’s inherent worth and determining that a Higher Power desires everyone to be fulfilled in this life after claiming, which entails taking action on the options presented.
- Many traditions in prosperity consciousness advocate that the claimant be as specific as feasible when claiming any sort of rich opportunity.
- For example, if the goal is to accumulate sufficient financial resources so that the family may live a decent standard of living, the individual would describe their desire and propose a strategy for achieving it.
- It’s possible to claim both financial rewards as well as the opportunity to love and be loved by utilizing the law of attraction and being receptive to new individuals entering your social network.
- When the aim is to attract money in other areas, such as spiritual matters, it’s essential to state the demand explicitly in terms of a desire to learn something new or to discover an answer to a specific faith-based question.
- The individual mindset shift associated with prosperity and wealth consciousness is usually thought of as a plan for individuals, but businesses can also adopt it.
By engaging in positive self-affirmation about the company’s meaning and goals, you may tap into prosperity consciousness to confidently engage in activities necessary for the business to achieve whatever objectives have been set by the owners.
What Are Prosperity Affirmations?
Prosperity affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself on a daily basis in order to manifest abundance and prosperity in your life.
Some people believe that by repeating these statements, you can program your subconscious mind to attract more money and success into your life.
While there is no scientific evidence to support this claim, many people have found that using prosperity affirmations can be helpful in achieving their goals.
There are many different types of prosperity affirmations, but they all have one thing in common: they are positive statements about abundance and success.
Some examples of prosperity affirmations include:
- “I am a money magnet.”
- “I am surrounded by abundance.”
- “I attract success and abundance into my life.”
- “I am confident and successful.”
- “I deserve to be prosperous.”
- “I am open to receiving all the good that life has to offer.”
- “I am grateful for my many blessings.”
- “My cup overflows with abundance.”
Prosperity affirmations can be used in conjunction with other positive thinking and visualization techniques to attract success, abundance, and prosperity into your life. Remember, whatever you focus on expands. So if you want more abundance and success in your life, start using prosperity affirmations today!
How to Increase Your Prosperity Consciousness
To begin with, recall that prosperity is a consequence in the same way that poverty or scarcity is.
If you consider causation and effect, your perception is the source of the problem. Your personality is formed by the sum of your thoughts, beliefs, meanings, intentions, decisions, memories, and values.
Your personality is how you see yourself in action, and your personality subsequently builds your reality.
To modify your reality, you must first change your mentality; this involves developing into a new person to alter the principles that prevent you from obtaining the world you desire.
Returning to prosperity is also a mindset — the sustained thoughts and emotions that you experience and the reality of wealth.
These ideas and sentiments influence your reactions and the subsequent repercussions you understand as financial gain.
It’s the cycle of ideas, feelings, words, and actions that determines what happens in your life.
Awareness is another term for consciousness, and it has to do with how much you are conscious of your prosperity.
That implies you must be able to recognize wealth.
The solution is simple: we must find a way to reconnect with ourselves. Most people’s brains operate on autopilot, which means they are generally unaware of themselves and oblivious to the 65,000 thoughts they have every day (We become what we think about).
People’s daily routine is evident in this regard.
The conscious mind has given way to the body
Your bodily actions are a reflection of your subconscious thoughts. When the body and mind are tuned, the physical body takes over.
You don’t consciously plan how to drive your car, put on clothes, prepare meals (unless it’s a new dish), take a shower, or do any other activity for that matter.
The body is naturally capable of performing these functions, and it does not require the intervention of the conscious mind.
This is where most people live, and they’ve essentially handed over control of their conscious minds to their subconscious minds.
The danger with this hypothesis is that the body-mind (subconscious mind), also known as the ego-mind, is territorial and jealous of its domain.
It likes things to remain the same, and it must safeguard you and your belongings sufficiently strong to generate circumstances for things to stay the same.
If one believes that they can do more than what has been set for you, such as make a lot of money if you haven’t previously, then this is the time to reconsider.
Your self-image drives the subconscious mind, which is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
If you have a negative image of yourself (such as not good enough, unworthy, inferior), then that is how you will view and experience a life of scarcity, stress, and disconnection from the Source or God.
If you believe yourself to be deserving and good enough, you will have a successful, wealthy, and enjoyable life. This affects all areas of your life, including business, money, relationships, and health.
The secret is to improve your self-image and, as a result, break free from the past. This is how it’s done.
To be successful at winning love, you must teach your body-mind to enjoy prosperity, and you must condition it to accept the new experience of love and abundance. By doing so, you remodel your brain by constantly stimulating new brain cells until they become dominant.
There are various methods to create and implement a New You in this category. You become the individual you need to be to experience prosperity flowing into your business and life due to the process.
7 Ways To Develop Prosperity Consciousness:
Prosperity consciousness technique #1: Guided Meditation
Do a guided meditation and imagine what your life will be like when you’ve regularly achieved the prosperity you want.
Prosperity consciousness technique #2: Addicted to Feel Good
Take advantage of any opportunities to cherish yourself, both big and little. Take time each day to eat something that tastes good, spend quality time with your kids or family, get a massage, listen to relaxing music while you work out… anything that makes you feel good. Be sensitive to how you feel and practice stimulating your vibration by seeking things that make you happy.
Prosperity consciousness technique #3: Attitude of Gratitude
Develop an attitude of gratitude by keeping a journal and counting your blessings every day. Also, tell the world how delighted you are about what you want to bring into existence by pretending it has already happened.
Prosperity consciousness technique #4: Way-of-Being
Consider who you want to BE: the beliefs, intentions, and habits you need to develop and embrace. To become your primary way of existing, practice them deliberately and consciously daily until they become a natural part of your neurology.
Prosperity consciousness technique #5: Clarity
Take time each day to clarify your vision and why for you, feel it, and express gratitude for having it.
Prosperity consciousness technique #6: Visual Images
Make a vision board with pictures of how great your life and company will be in the future. Imagine yourself in these locations, doing what you want to do and interacting with individuals you wish to meet. Feel the emotions that make it real for your subconscious mind.
Prosperity consciousness technique #7: Daily Rituals
Daily rituals should frequently and deliberately tune into the higher vibration of prosperity, seeing and feeling yourself living it.
Affirmations for Abundance & Prosperity Consciousness
If you grasp the fundamentals of affirmations, it becomes clear that there are no “correct” or “perfect” or “positive affirmations” for you to utilize.
Affirmations are always subjective; the key is to learn how to select affirmations and mantras that make you feel good at the time you’re affirming them.
However, a few simple, go-to phrases will always work.
- I am grateful for all the positive aspects of my life.
- I choose to hold life’s many mysteries.
- I welcome receiving unexpected opportunities.
Exercises to Develop a Positive Mindset
There are numerous ways to develop prosperity consciousness and improve your abundance mindset.
No one is inherently better or inferior to any other; it’s all about finding the methods that work for you.
The following are some of the most frequently performed workouts:
- Developing a Strong Morning Routine. Many people underestimate the importance of the first hour of their day. You establish the groundwork for a good day by getting off to a good start, allowing you to generate more money. This article explains how to put in an efficient 60-minute morning ritual.
- Do A Rampage of Appreciation. Working with affirmations is an excellent habit, but learning to appreciate appreciation is even more beneficial. These are simply strings of affirmations and positive things about subjects you enjoy. When they’re put together, they provide strong momentum in the direction of your objectives.
- Keep A Gratitude Journal. Hardwire beliefs more quickly through writing than by speaking. According to research, maintaining a daily gratitude exercise diary for just three weeks rewires your brain for the next six months, so this is something you should not overlook!
- Play With Automatic Writing. You may also try automatic writing for positive and appreciative statements. This is a type of writing that helps you connect with your intuition. When you connect with your subconscious mind in this manner, you can more easily incorporate positive beliefs. Find out more about automatic writing with this beginner’s guide.
- Use Visualization Exercises. Finally, don’t be afraid to strengthen your beliefs by visualizing. Goal-setting and vision boards are two tools that can help you form an abundant mentality and cultivate prosperity consciousness. Try using these “how to visualize” techniques for achieving any goal.
Laws of Prosperity
It’s critical to realize whole-life prosperity if you want to live the life God designed for you. Start today with these seven principles of wealth.
God wants you to be prosperous.
The good life is defined as success, plenty, and abundance, and these are all expressions of happiness and prosperity.
Despite popular belief, God’s will for you is to be happy, healthy, and wealthy.
Have you ever found that the Bible does not promise God will provide you with just enough to get by?
Instead, phrases such as numerous, overflowing, and plentiful are used.
God desires to execute marvelously, far above and beyond all we could ever desire or imagine (Ephesians 3:19-21), and He guarantees us success in His only devised strategies for us (Jeremiah 29:11).
That’s a life of plenty!
God desires to gift us with a lifetime of prosperity so that He may seal His bargain with us, give us more life, and empower us to bless others and share the gospel of Christ.
The idea that God wants His people sick, discouraged, or poor directly contradicts God’s essence, as revealed in Scripture.
Scriptures on Prosperity and Success
God isn’t at all opposed to us becoming rich. God is not in the least bit concerned about our riches.
He rejoices when we prosper (Psalm 35:27). He’s just opposed to our covetousness and avarice. God has an endless supply on hand, with nothing lacking, and He wants us to have the same mindset as Him.
If you’re ready for the life He has in store for you; it’s critical first to know how to get there.
Begin learning about these seven laws of prosperity right now.
More Than Money: The Possibilities of Prosperity” I pray that you will have success in all of your endeavors and that you remain healthy, just as your soul is.” 3 John 1:2 (NKJV)
When someone refers to the “prosperity gospel,” they usually mean money. This is part of achieving a higher level of living, but it isn’t everything. It would be simple to settle for spiritual prosperity rather than accepting all that Jesus bought for us on earth. The Bible promises that sickness will be a thing of the past (Revelation 21:4). God desires that we are healed both physically, spiritually, and emotionally, as well as maintained in this condition until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23). What does it imply to live a whole life?
- Spiritual Prosperity. To be successful in life, you must experience a second birth. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, your spirit is reborn and brought into communication with the Almighty God.
- Emotional Prosperity. The only way to discover perfect serenity and joy in this world is through Jesus. That is why we see people marry, again and again, take antidepressants, consider suicide, tear other individuals down, use drugs, or question their God-given gender. That isn’t the abundant life that Jesus came to provide for us, and it’s far from prosperity. Jesus fills in the gaps: He offers answers where there were questions, confidence where there was once doubt, and hope where there was previously despair.
- Mental Prosperity. God simply intended us to know it all for our amusement according to the world. God had an aim in mind when He designed us to be good at mental activities. Revelation knowledge, mental abilities that exceed our own, and keen intellect are included in this mental well-being definition. It involves putting down outdated ideas and regulating your thoughts.
- Physical Prosperity. The world’s health care system elevates hospitals and medications to the level of gods. In reality, it typically leaves God out, and without him, it won’t operate! There is a superior alternative available to you. He wants you to experience supernatural and godly health every day of your life.
- Relational Prosperity. God can genuinely assist you in your relationships. He is the source of unique and helpful gifts. He can rekindle relationships that people would consider shattered. He also has the power to offer a great marriage and robust and long-lasting family ties and friendships. With relational success, there is a feeling of peace. It’s something he wants you to have.
- Accomplishment Prosperity. He’s suggesting that we always put the end-user first by asking them if they’re in favor of the decision before making it. When you have a favorite, doors open for you, and things turn your way, even if they don’t appear to be possible. You flourish when you succeed at something. God wants us to be successful in all we do!
- Financial Prosperity. If a guy came to you asking for clothes and you didn’t have any, both of you would be in big trouble. We are called to succeed so that we may abundantly provide for our own families, bless others around us, and finance the work of God’s kingdom on earth.
This is the central, fundamental truth that runs through the whole Bible. God created a man with the spiritual, mental, or financial assets to meet any need that arose whenever there was a demand.
1. Tithing Is Tied to Prosperity
“Bring all of the tithes into the warehouse, and test Me now with this: if I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessings that there will be no room to receive them.” – Malachi 3:10 (NKJV)
Money in someone else’s hands is the test for Divine favor, which serves as the threshold. This all begins with good management of God’s assets and tithing. Because it allows you to fulfill your needs, bless you, and keep you prosperous by gathering what God has provided
In Deuteronomy 28, God admonished and blessed the Israelites. But He spoke to them about allowing Him into their finances – through the tithe – only moments before, in Deuteronomy 26. Why? It’s not because God required it; it’s because they wanted help. He began his tale by telling them about the ten percent plan, then blessed food and animals as a blessing for everyone in their group. After that came the bad news: They had been conquered. The Israelites were fleeing into the Promised Land, where they would encounter many challenges. So he preached tithing, a curse, and THE BLESSING in that order to them.
There are many rumors about whether or not tithing works. You may watch videos, read books on the subject, and research, but there are no definitive answers. Because people perceive it differently, tithing has long been one of Christianity’s most divisive issues. It all depends on how you perceive it (see Isaiah 29:13). It’s still the same today. You’re going backward if you’ve been thinking to yourself, I believe in tithing, but I just can’t afford it. Because if you don’t allow THE BLESSING into your life, THE CURSE will enter.
2. Debt Freedom Is a Necessity for Wealth
“The borrower is a slave to the lender.” Proverbs 22:7 (NIV)
Slavery is owing someone else—a leash that does not belong to any Christian youngster. Debt freedom is essential for a person to express himself in prosperity fully. The financial system in the world is complicated and ineffective. It swings up and down between sadness and inflation, with the two ends of the spectrum swinging back and forth at each other.
Life may be pretty straightforward when you operate in God’s financial system. Don’t borrow from anybody; turn to God for assistance. Borrowing has a disadvantage: it is subject to the world’s rules. Instead, look to God for help; He will not give but offer a loan!
Here are some valuable suggestions to get out of debt:
When Kenneth and Gloria Copeland began their ministry, they had a long road ahead of them.
According to Romans 13:8, “owe no one anything” (NKJV), they were determined.
They nevertheless sat down and made a list of everything it would take to run their family successfully.
Then they prayed in the Name of Jesus, deciding never to borrow money again and not owing anybody anything less than a year later.
Yes, praying is a form of manifestation.
- You’ll be able to pay your taxes with a minimum of fuss.
“Pay your government fees and taxes to those who collect them, and give respect and regard to those in command.” – Romans 13:7 It shouldn’t come as a surprise that this view of the world is anti-Christian.
If you’re searching for money, one of the most typical blunders is to trash-talk the government and its leaders, especially when it comes to tax collection. The majority of individuals conflict with their duties, which directly relate to our financial system. The day came when the Lord told Brother Copeland, “Stop complaining and be grateful for my money. I’ll bless it if you pay it freely as you tithe.” They began praying over their tax money—just as they do with their tithe—and have never had a tax bill that they couldn’t afford since.
Turn from your bitterness and rage against your government from your heart! Rather than bad-mouthing our leaders, the Word instructs us to pray and give thanks for them. When you change your attitude and do God’s Words, it will bring forth a wealth of blessings that you are unaware of right now.
- To succeed, you must learn how to give and receive
“Give, and it will be given to you.” – Luke 6:38 (KJV)
The spiritual law of prosperity states that giving and receiving are both covered.
Jesus was aware of the spiritual principle of generosity, and He put it to good use.
Some of Judas’s followers thought he would give money to the poor after seeing him distribute so much cash at the Last Supper when he left the room.
Do you wish to have a thousand times return on your money—to live in financial abundance? Give and allow God to multiply it back to you.
This is not available from any bank in the world!
Banks pay a lousy 0.1% interest on your money.
Praise the Lord!
To reap a harvest, we must seek out how much and where to sow and have faith in the Lord while waiting for the crop to mature. Harvesting is critical since God’s blessings can always help us reach more people. Don’t be fooled by false humility, which is the sin of refusing to accept what God has in store for you.
Instead, act like a good giver and receiver—a spiritual command!
- Choose God’s System
Do not be enslaved by the current world. “Do not be conformed to this age.” Romans 12:2 (KJV)
There are two options before you: God’s system or the world’s system, whether you want to be healthy, financially prosperous, cognitively strong, emotionally content, on good terms with others, at peace with yourself, or have any other aspect of your life.
The world tells you to get more deeply in debt, expect to become ill or infirm, divorce your spouse if you don’t like him, and do whatever makes you feel good right now.
Those aren’t God’s ways, though. (1 Corinthians 2:14) To the world, God’s things are nonsense.
Even though humanity may constantly provide you with alternatives, God’s method is always the best approach. When confronted with a choice, you’ll come across a crossroads and be tempted to believe in pharmaceuticals, internet material, or cutting-edge research.
They’ll say, “This is the solution!” They will expect God’s most significant to come from outside the world system.
He will work through and around it to reach you, but it is always far below His utmost potential.
You are not a part of this world. Choose God’s way, which guarantees success every time.
- You will keep your promises.
“He shall have whatever he wishes.” – Mark 11:23 (KJV)
Jesus revealed a spiritual law in Mark 11:23, which is effective. It goes against the natural mind to believe that with belief, you can have anything you desire, even if it contradicts what your physical eyes tell you.
But Jesus said it, and because God exists forever, it is true! If you apply this spiritual rule, combine your faith with it, and don’t doubt in your heart that it will operate for you!
Everything was created by the Word of God, as stated in Genesis 1:3. His faith was released when God spoke, the creative energy that brought His words to reality. He demonstrated how words are spiritual containers with the potential to shape our future. Our faith is the origin and transmitter of our words.
But what’s fascinating is that when we speak God’s words about our lives, we allow God’s faith to function in our surroundings.
As a result, we can expect everything we claim will occur when we make a declaration from our hearts with the faith that God will accomplish in our lives precisely what He has promised—according to Jesus in Mark 11:24.
As outlined in this book, the laws of abundance are similar to the laws of salvation, healing, and so on. We’re talking about the same God, the same Scripture, the same Jesus Christ (or Lord), the same power of faith, and even the same thief.
A farmer may intend to have a successful harvest, but how can he expect a crop if he never plants the seed? You must obey these seven rules if you want to get anything done!
The results will come!
If you want to gain more money and success in your life, it’s essential to develop a prosperity consciousness.
This means learning to think and act with an abundance mindset at all times.
You can do many things to cultivate this type of thinking, and the steps we’ve outlined here should get you started.
Remember, it takes time and exercise to change your mindset, but eventually, you will see positive results in every area of your life if you stick with it.
